There’s a good chance you lose hours every day without even noticing…
You open your email to check one thing, find 5 other things you need to deal with, and by the time you’re done, you’ve forgotten why you opened it.
Then you need a break, so you pick up your phone and start scrolling.
For me, nothing took up more of my attention than going back and forth between clients, since I run the tech for 4 or 5 businesses at once as a fractional CTO.
Every time I sat down to work on a different client’s project, I had to go through Slack and my email to see what had changed since I last looked.
Even a decision that would only take me 5 minutes could need 30 minutes of catching up first.
So I started doing something I call attentionmaxxing, which is basically cutting down how many things you have to keep track of yourself, as much as you possibly can.
I stopped keeping my own task lists and project trackers, and stopped logging my hours altogether.
Alfred does all of that for me.
In August alone, he saved me 100+ hours, even after subtracting every minute I spent prompting him and fixing his work.
That’s more than 2 and a half full work weeks, and most of it was admin nobody was paying me for anyway.
If you want to start doing the same thing, I just made a video walking through how attentionmaxxing works, so you can get way more done while working less than you are right now.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
1. Why you get distracted so easily, even if you’re pretty disciplined
2. The 2 numbers that tell you whether AI is actually saving you time
3. Why saving time can still leave you working the exact same hours
4. What to do with the time you get back if you charge by the hour
