If you’ve got more than one client at a time, you probably spend the start of most days figuring out what each of them is expecting from you…
Like reading back through your email and Slack, keeping up with all the different promises you made, and deciding what has to get done today.
None of which you’re actually getting paid for…
Personally, I’m a fractional CTO, running the technical side of 4 or 5 businesses at once, so for a long time, figuring out what I owed every client took the first hour of every single day.
So I built my own personal AI assistant called Alfred that now does that morning check for me.
Every morning at 7am, he messages me in Slack with exactly what each client is expecting from me, and what I need to get done that day.
A lot of people just ask Claude to go through their email and Slack each morning and tell them what to do.
The issue there is that Claude starts from scratch every time, and no idea what it told them yesterday.
With Alfred, I can take a few days off, and he’ll know exactly what happened while I was gone.
Anyway, I made a full guide on how I turned AI into my personal assistant, so you can just copy the whole setup for your own business.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
1. The job description I wrote for Alfred before giving him access to my email or Slack
2. What I copied from my first executive assistant when building this AI system
3. The things I’ll never let AI do without my approval
4. How I get Alfred to figure out how many hours to bill each client every week
